On Parade - 50 Years On.

The 74th Entry Convened to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Graduation on 28 March 1956.
On familiar ground on the Henderson parade square at RAF Halton. Many of us visiting the old "School" for the first time in 50 years. This photograph shows a smart bunch of lads proudly wearing their celebration fleece jackets, emblazened with their 74th Entry badges. Mostly excused boots (and haircuts?) on this occasion.
Well Done Tony!
The Entry met over the weekend of 24th to the 27th March 2006 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Graduation on 28 March 1956.
It was arranged by Tony Merry (74th Engines), the Entry Co-ordinator, who had done a marvellous job, in the spirit of the 74th, and praised by all who attended. The venue was the Holiday Inn, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire; only a short distance from RAF Halton, the traditional home of our Entry.
Well Done Chaps!
Thankyou for turning up. Those who were able to make the trip converged on the Holiday Inn from all parts of England, Scotland and Wales with at least a couple from Canada. Some, like myself, had travelled hundreds of miles by car or train; but all determined to make the historic gathering.
