74th at the RAF Museum at Hendon.

Enjoyed by the Ladies As Much As by the Lads
Saturday 25 March 2006. Reveille at 07.30hrs. Breakfast served from 07.30hrs in the hotel restaurant.
We assembled in the hotel reception area, most of us wearing those wonderful fleeces, for the visit to the RAF Museum at Hendon. The coach arrived at Hendon at about 11.30hrs.
Hendon Aircraft Museum was absolutely fabulous, enjoyed by the ladies as much as by the lads.
Most of the aircraft, engines and other bits and pieces we had worked on during our RAF service were there. Even the Derwent Mk.8 engine I had spent so much time with during my time with 58 MU at RAF Sutton Bridge. Memories came flooding back.
NOTE: [The photographs in this section were taken by Slim, with one or two of my own and some by willing lady volunteers. Sorry but I've forgotten which is which and whose is what. If you would like some of your own photographs of the Weekend added to this section or make a comment - something I've missed perhaps, please let me know.]
